DEUX EN HARPE

Together with the Swiss harpist Céline Gay des Combes, Lindsay founded Deux en Harpe in 2008. Deux en Harpe recorded their first CD featuring dance-inspired music in 2011, entitled Pas de deux harpistique. The CD was premiered with a concert at the Manège in Geneva, Switzerland in December 2011. They also toured on the East Coast of the USA in summer 2010, including concerts in Baltimore, Washington, D.C. and Brooklyn, NY, with a program featuring works by Gershwin, Salzedo, Granados, Thomas and Andrès.

Other important past concerts have included a live performance on the public radio station “RSR Espace 2” in Switzerland in July 2009 and concerts as soloists performing the J.S. Bach “Concerto for 4 Harpsichords” with the Orchestra Praeclassica in Geneva in May 2011. Deux en Harpe was invited to perform at the Harfenfest Luzern in September 2018. They premiered a commissioned piece by the French composer François Pernel at this concert.

They have performed at many locations over their more than 10 years of concert activities, including performances at venues such as “Kultur im Horn” in Meilen, ZH, Festival Champex-Lac in Valais, Kultur i de Braui in Hochdorf, Lyceum Club Lausanne, Victoria Hall in Geneva, “Festival Orgues, Musiques et Cimes” in the Vallée du Trient in Valais, Festival “le bois qui chant” in Chateau d’Oex, and “Les Samedis Musicaux de Prades” in France.
